These terms are between you and ICON Tennis & Pickleball ("we", "us"), which operates Anya Tennis. By creating an account or subscribing you accept them. If you don't, don't subscribe — and if you have already, use the refund below.
A licence to install and use Anya Tennis on computers you own or control, for as long as your subscription is current. The licence is personal and non-transferable. You may use it for your own coaching or playing, including commercially — a coach charging for lessons does not need anything extra from us.
You may not resell, rent, or sublicense the app, share your account credentials with other people, or remove or work around the sign-in and subscription checks. We can suspend an account that does.
You keep every right in the footage you process and in the reels the app produces. We claim no licence over them of any kind. This is easy for us to promise because we never receive them: the app does its work entirely on your machine. See the privacy policy.
You are responsible for having the right to record and process the footage you use — which matters if you are filming other people's children, a club's members, or a match at a venue with its own rules.
$40 per year, or $5 per month. These are promotional launch prices. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies, and Stripe shows you the total before you pay.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the price then in effect, until you cancel. If we change the price of an existing subscription we will tell you by email at least 30 days beforehand, and you can cancel before it takes effect. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
Within 14 days of your first payment you may cancel and receive a full refund. Open Account in the app and press Cancel & refund. Your subscription ends immediately and the whole amount is returned to your card, normally within a few business days.
You do not need a reason and you do not need to email anyone. It does not matter how much you have used the app.
The offer can be used once per account. If you refund and later subscribe again, that later subscription is not refundable under this clause. This does not affect any statutory cancellation right you may have where you live — where the law gives you more than this, the law wins.
Open Account → Manage subscription, which takes you to Stripe. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate part-used periods outside the refund window above.
The app checks your subscription when it starts. If it cannot reach the internet it will keep working for up to 14 days on the last check it managed, after which it needs to get online once. This is a deliberate allowance for travel and bad connections, not a guarantee — if you know you will be offline for a long stretch, open the app while you still have a connection.
We may change, add, or remove features. If we remove something you can reasonably be said to have subscribed for, and you are unhappy about it, tell us and we will refund the unused part of your period.
The app runs on your own computer, so a problem at our end does not stop a reel that is already running. It can prevent signing in or subscribing. We don't promise any particular uptime for those parts.
Anya Tennis is provided "as is". It detects rallies with machine learning, which means it will sometimes miss a point or include something that isn't one. It is a tool for reviewing your own tennis; it is not an officiating system, and nothing it produces should be treated as an authoritative record of what happened in a match.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected with Anya Tennis is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost footage, lost profits, or indirect or consequential loss. Keep your own copies of anything you care about — the app works on your files, and no software is immune to bugs.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
You can stop at any time by cancelling and, if you want, deleting your account. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, that is being used fraudulently, or that is the subject of a chargeback; where we do so and you have not breached anything, we will refund the unused part of your period.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app's release notes and by email at least 30 days before they take effect for an existing subscription, and continuing to use the app after that means you accept them. Every past version is in the repository's history.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the state and federal courts located there have jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the place you live in, and may bring proceedings in your local courts.
