Anya Tennis is operated by ICON Tennis & Pickleball. You can reach us at smarttenniswithandy@gmail.com about anything on this page, including any of the requests below.
This is the important one, so it gets its own section. Anya Tennis does all of its work — finding the ball, tracking the players, working out where points start and end, cutting the reel — on your own machine, using models and video tools that ship inside the app. There is no upload step and no server that could receive a video.
We never receive your footage, single frames from it, filenames, how many reels you have made, how long they were, or anything else about the content of your matches. The files the app writes alongside your video stay on your disk.
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | It is your account. Used to sign you in, send password resets and receipts, and to reach you if something goes wrong with your subscription. | Until you delete your account |
| Account identifier and sign-in tokens | Keeps you signed in between launches and proves to the app that your subscription is current. | Until you sign out or delete your account |
| Subscription status, plan, and renewal date | Decides whether the app unlocks, and what the Account screen shows you. | Until you delete your account |
| Whether you have used your one-time refund | The refund offer is once per account; this is how that is enforced. | Kept after the subscription ends, so the offer stays one-time |
That is the complete list of what we store about you. In particular we do not collect analytics, usage counts, crash telemetry, an advertising identifier, your location, or anything about your device.
ANYA_NO_UPDATE_CHECK=1.We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and no one outside this list receives it.
The app writes a diagnostic log to
~/Library/Logs/Anya Tennis on your Mac. It stays there and
is never sent anywhere automatically — it only reaches us if you choose to
email it when reporting a problem. It records what the app was doing and any
errors, and it deliberately does not record sign-in tokens. It may contain
the file paths of videos you processed, so glance at it before sending if
that matters to you.
Your signed-in session is stored separately, in
~/Library/Application Support/Anya Tennis, precisely
so it is not in the folder people are asked to email.
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. If you are in the UK, EU, or a US state with its own privacy law, those requests are rights you have rather than favours we do; you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. Email smarttenniswithandy@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Deleting your account removes your email address and account record. We keep the fact that a refund was issued, and Stripe keeps its own record of the transaction, because we are both required to keep financial records.
Anya Tennis is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will remove it.
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or who sees it, we will say so in the app's release notes and update the date at the top. The previous versions of this page are in the repository's history.
